Freedom is enhanced by stability. Pilates is a transformative mind-body system; practiced with awareness, pilates connects us deeply to our physical and subtle bodies in unexpected, new ways. Cultivating a healthy, strong, connected center supports the lifelong yogic exploration of the heart. In both session one and two we will spend 30 minutes using the foam roller to open and rejuvinate areas of chronic congestion (particularly IT band, hips, thighs, calves, shoulders and neck), and then with an open body and mind, move through an hour long series of mat exercises to strengthen the deep core. |
